How DealWar works

A paid leaderboard and startup acquisitions board for apps & SaaS. No votes, no spam accounts — money decides the board.

Three ways to show up

Claim a rank

From $1. Highest bid sits on top. Your rank never expires until someone bids higher.

Featured slot

Flat $49 for 7 days on the homepage. First-come, first-served. Separate from rank.

List for sale

+$5 when you claim. Appears on the acquisitions board, independent of your rank.

Claiming & outbidding

  1. 1

    Submit your app

URL, title, tagline, logo, and a bid. Minimum $1. To take someone’s spot, bid at least $1 more than their current bid.

  2. 2

    Pay at checkout

You’re redirected to Polar for payment. Email is collected there — we never ask for a password.

  3. 3

    You’re on the board

After payment confirms, your listing appears sorted by bid. You get a private manage link by email to edit sale info, mark sold, or hide.

Important: Outbidding creates a new listing that ranks above the old one. The previous owner’s row is not taken over or edited — their manage link still works for their own listing.

Startup acquisitions

When you claim a rank, you can optionally pay +$5 to appear on the acquisitions board with an asking price, revenue and profit figures, and notes for buyers. Buyers send offers by email — we don't intermediate the deal or take a success fee.

Sale status is independent of rank. You can stay #1 and not be for sale, or sit lower on the board and still be listed for acquisition until you mark it sold via your manage link.

FAQ

Do ranks expire?

No. A rank holds until a new listing with a higher bid is confirmed. There is no decay timer.

Is there a refund policy?

Completed payments are non-refundable. See Terms.

How do I edit or mark sold?

After payment we email a private manage link. No login. Use it to update sale fields, mark sold, or hide the listing. Lost the link? Contact support with the email used at checkout.

Who can list?

Apps and SaaS only. See Rules for what’s allowed.
