Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Email at checkout — collected by Polar when you pay. Used for receipts, rank-related records, and (for new listings) emailing your private manage link. Not shown on the public board.
• Listing data — URL, title, tagline, optional logo, and, if you opt in: asking price, revenue/profit figures, contact email, and notes (shown on the acquisitions board).
• Offer messages — name, email, and message from interested buyers, stored and emailed to the seller's contact address when possible. Messages that fail our spam checks are discarded and are not stored.
• Usage — aggregate visitor count and per-listing click counts, rate-limited by IP address to keep the numbers accurate. We do not build individual advertising profiles.

Payments

Card and payment data are handled by Polar (merchant of record). We do not store full card numbers. See Polar’s privacy policy.

Manage link

The manage link contains a secret token. It is emailed only to the checkout email and is not exposed in public API responses. Anyone with the link can edit that listing — treat it like a password.

Where data lives

Application data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) with row-level security. Server routes use a service role key for payment confirmation and manage actions.

Your choices

Use your manage link to edit or hide a listing and to clear for-sale info. For deletion of account-related records beyond that, email support@dealwar.lol with proof of the payment email. We may retain records needed for fraud prevention, taxes, or legal compliance.
